Notice of amendment preparation to planning scheme Amendment C176bany

This amendment proposes to implement recommendations from the Banyule Planning Scheme Review 2023. The changes include the rezoning of land to be consistent with existing land use, adding and removing heritage, vegetation protection and environmental significance overlays, and making improvements to existing overlay schedules and associated mapping.

Council opposes costly fourth bin proposal

We have joined a state-wide campaign against the Victorian Government’s mandate to provide a separate glass recycling bin for home waste services. Banyule is one of 34 councils supporting the ‘Let’s be clear on glass’ campaign urging the government to reconsider the directive.
