Seniors Festival
This year’s Victorian Seniors Festival theme – Connect, Create and Celebrate – invites older Victorians to come together, discover new interests and celebrate.
Join a variety of free and low-cost events this October 2025, both in person and online. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, try something new and celebrate the vibrant contributions of older adults in our community.
Free transportation
As a Victorian Seniors Card holder, you can travel to and within Banyule, explore metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria with 8 days of free travel from 5 to 12 October 2025.
Remember, always carry your Seniors Myki and Victorian Seniors Card with you on public transport. Touch on and off as usual, you will not be charged. On regional services that do not use Myki, just show your Victorian Seniors Card to the conductor or bus driver.

The Victorian Seniors Festival is a major state-wide festival for seniors, providing opportunities for senior Victorians to participate in a range of activities and events to connect with their community.
Major events will include Celebration day at fed Square, Melbourne Town Hall Dance, Aged Care Tour and the Country Concerts.
