Rosanna, Ivanhoe and Watsonia libraries (and all Yarra Plenty Regional Library branches) will be closed Friday 24 July 2026 for a staff development day. The customer service centre at Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub will be open normal hours 9am to 5pm. Thank you for your understanding.
Local businesses can organise a weekly bin collection service. We provide a 240-litre bin that is emptied weekly.
Bins must be placed out the night before collection in a location our trucks can reach.
We will not pick up waste that has been left beside the bin. Overfilled bins and bins weighing over 45kg will not be collected.
Bins will be emptied every Tuesday.
Bins will be emptied every Thursday.
The Thursday service for southern areas in Banyule is fully booked and new service requests are not being accepted.

The service charge is $875.50 annually per bin (inclusive of GST). This is a minimum 3-month service.
If you lease your premises you need to provide us with written agreement from the property owner.
