Warringal Cemetery Warringal Cemetery is Banyule's main operational cemetery. Located in Heidelberg, it offers limited burial opportunities and a range of cremated remains memorial options. Established in 1855, the cemetery combines historic monumental sections with lawn grave areas and memorial spaces, making it both an active cemetery and an important heritage site.
Greensborough Cemetery Greensborough Cemetery is a small historic cemetery in Greensborough. Established in 1863, it has a long local history and continues to provide limited burial opportunities in graves that were purchased before the cemetery closed to new burials in 1978. The cemetery is open daily and is located on Jessop Street near Greensborough Plaza.
Hawdon Street Cemetery Hawdon Street Cemetery is Banyule's oldest cemetery. Established in 1849, it is no longer operating as a cemetery and we now manage it as a memorial park. The site preserves an important part of Heidelberg's local history and provides a place for reflection and remembrance.
