Our services and programs

My Aged Care social support program

The My Aged Care program helps socially isolated elderly residents aged 65 and over (50 and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents) to participate in social activities.

Older adults recreation

Get involved in this program of activities that encourage socialisation, connection, wellbeing and opportunities to make new friends.

Subscribe now! Keep active and meet people with similar interests by reading our quarterly newsletter for local older adults.

Home activities

There are many alternative home activities you can do to keep in contact with friends and family, and to remain in active contact with the world.

Age-friendly city

We foster Banyule to be an age-friendly city where older people can work, live, play and feel valued as a community member. Become an age-friendly champion to help out.

Age-friendly clubs

We have 13 clubs and social groups across Banyule. Each offers a variety games, lunches and engagements for older residents.

Neighbourhood houses and learning centres

Meet, share, and learn together. Choose from professional, practical and affordable programs and learn at your own pace.
