Request touch-based bin symbols

We can give you free bin symbols to help you identify recycling, rubbish and food and garden organics bins by touch rather than sight.

The small, moulded shapes are made from recycled plastic, supporting our commitment to a circular economy.

  2. Be sure bin lids are dry.
  3. Use a small amount of superglue on each shape to attach to the correct bin.
  4. Let glue dry for 10 minutes.

You can also request help from a Council officer when you receive your touch-based symbols.
