Enjoy working nature and creating a beautiful natural habitat for our community and wildlife to enjoy?
Join one of the many friends-of groups in regular working bees at the various reserves across Banyule. You will help with revegetation, weeding and bird surveying.
To volunteer, you will need to:
We encourage residents to set aside an area in their garden for local wildlife. As a guide, you will be part of a team to visit and advise residents on potential changes needed to make their gardens wildlife friendly.

On site and virtual visits are one hour maximum, not including travel time to and from locations. Report writing will vary, but guides are given 2 weeks to compile their feedback.
Volunteer to be a guide
Wonder what happens behind the scenes at a music event and how it all comes together?
Join the Jets Events & Production Crew and learn what it takes to produce creative productions. You will be involved with video production, graphic design, music management and much more.
We require a minimum of 3 hours per week at variable times.

These opportunities allow our community to provide insights, share lived experience and offer specialist knowledge to assist the work we do. Your input will be used to help make Banyule a better place, and to help us take important steps to support people who face challenges and ensure equal opportunities for everyone.
