2019 Arts and Culture Program
Each year we give our arts and culture program a theme, to help build partnerships and provide opportunities for different segments of our community to engage with us.
The 2019 theme is: Celebrating and supporting the diversity and individuality of our young people.
The 2019 theme was developed by young people engaged with Council's Youth Services team, and provides a framework for our entire 2019 program of colourful artistic and community events.
2020-2021 Arts and Culture Program
We are focusing on the Banyule arts community from July 2020 to December 2021.
We will be launching the Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub (ILCH) – our new venue – and we are currently seeking proposals for programming ideas. This consultation process is a way to establish and develop a relationship with our creative community.
We are running information sessions over September-October where you can learn about our new spaces, and about how to get involved in our programming.
If you have any access requirements, or face any barriers to physical attendance at one of these sessions, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org so we can support you to participate.
Session times and locations
- Saturday 30 November, 10.30am-12.30am @ Hatch Contemporary Arts Space
- Monday 2 December, 6pm-8pm @ Banyule City Council, Greensborough
Attendance at one of these sessions is a requirement of submitting a 2021 programming proposal.
