Family Christmas craft day

Celebrate the festive season with a fun-filled afternoon of Christmas crafting.

Using reused and recycled materials, you will create sustainable Christmas cards and decorations while exploring creative ways to give materials a second life.

All materials will be provided, and you're welcome to bring along your own items to use or share with others.

Who should attend

This event is suitable for families, children and adults who enjoy getting creative and learning how sustainability can be incorporated into festive celebrations. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

What to expect

Spend the afternoon making Christmas cards and decorations from reused and recycled materials in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Discover how creativity and sustainability go hand in hand, and take home handmade creations to enjoy during the festive season.

What to bring

• Any materials you'd like to use or share with others.
• Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times.
• Please bring your own water bottle.
• The workshop will be held outdoors, under cover, weather permitting.
• If you are unwell on the day, please stay home to protect others.

When

Location

Free parking is available on Perkins Avenue, opposite the venue, as well as surrounding streets. Parking on Perkins Avenue has a two-hour limit, however nearby streets offer all-day parking. Ivanhoe Train Station is approximately a 20-minute walk away, with nearby bus stops at Plunkett Street/Bell Street (Routes 513, 514 and 903) and Perkins Avenue/Oriel Road (Routes 230, 350 and 549).
