Grants program drop in information session

Applications are now open for many of our grants with a closing on Sunday 30 August.

These grants support local community groups, not-for-profit organisations, artists, creatives and residents to deliver projects that strengthen our community, celebrate creativity, encourage active lifestyles, care for the environment and your home and make Banyule an even better place to live.

Who should attend

Our grant programs are designed for people and organisations with ideas that will benefit our community. Depending on the grant category, applicants may include:

• community groups and not-for-profit organisations
• local artists and creatives
• schools and education providers
• environmental and sustainability groups
• individual residents delivering community-focused projects.

We encourage both first-time and returning applicants to apply.

Why attend a session?

Applying for an arts, environment or community grant can feel challenging, especially if you're new to the process. Our free drop-in sessions are an opportunity to speak directly with a grants officer and get guidance before submitting your application.

You can:

• discuss your project idea and its suitability for funding
• learn about eligibility requirements and assessment criteria
• get help navigating the application process
• ask questions about project budgets, timelines and supporting documents
• gain practical tips to strengthen your application

Free drop-in support

No bookings are required. Simply drop in during the session time and speak with a grants officer.

Whether you're developing a new idea or putting the final touches on your application, we're here to help.
