Environment grants
Our community is an integral part of the environment, and together we are its custodian.
The grants encourage community involvement to care for our environment as set out in the Banyule Plan and Budget.
Grants are available for local individuals and groups to deliver projects that benefit our environment and community.

A total pool of $90,000 is available for projects that align with the strategies listed above. You can apply for a grant of up to $10,000.

Applications are assessed using 4 criteria:
- Alignment with our Sustainable Environment Vision (25%)
- Community and environmental benefit (35%)
- Well planned project (30%)

Everyone involved in the assessment must declare any conflicts of interest before the process begins.
Application
Applications must be submitted through Smarty Grants.

- project outcomes.
You must get our consent to any project variations that will alter the original funding approval before you proceed (we reserve the right to cease funding).
