We will soon be pruning trees on our nature strips and various properties we own to maintain a safe distance around powerlines. Victorian regulations require us to maintain vegetation clearance around powerlines for public safety.
The Street tree pruning program schedule lists where tree pruning works will occur based on suburb and precinct. It also lists the works period, reflecting when the tree pruning work will begin and be completed in streets throughout the location.
Pruning works will not occur on trees growing out from private property.
A colourful map of Banyule showing all 21 suburbs and their boundaries. The map also shows all 7 precincts in Banyule, each named after their approximate cardinal direction. Each precinct in the image has a unique colour and each cover the areas listed:
The 5 suburbs of Bundoora, Eltham, Eltham North, Greensborough, and Macleod are also part of nearby council areas. The suburbs listed for each area are only those parts that are in Banyule.

Relevant parties will be contacted regarding any pruning done on trees of cultural or environmental significance, and information on what we are doing and why will be provided.
