Discover the hidden world of Banyule's nocturnal wildlife on a guided evening walk through Banyule Northern Grassland Reserve. Join Bush Crew volunteers and Park Rangers to spot possums, gliders and tawny frogmouths, learn about local habitats, and enjoy free hot chocolate and biscuits under the stars.
This activity is for young people aged 14 to 18 years who are interested in wildlife, nature, conservation or spending time outdoors. It is ideal for anyone keen to learn more about local ecosystems and explore the reserve after dark.
This event involves walking outdoors at night on unsealed dirt tracks. Terrain may be uneven, muddy or wet. Participants should wear suitable enclosed footwear, warm clothing and bring a torch. Mosquito repellent is also recommended.
