Sustainable wreath making workshop

Take a break from the rush of the festive season and join us for a native wreath-making workshop.

Enjoy a relaxed and creative session as you connect with your community and create a beautiful wreath to take home.

Flowers and wreath bases will be provided, and you're welcome to bring your own decorations or greenery to personalise your creation.

Who should attend?

This workshop is suitable for adults looking to get creative, connect with others and make a unique seasonal decoration.

Young people aged 16 and over are welcome to attend but must be supervised by an adult at all times.

What to expect

Learn how to create your own native wreath using a variety of provided materials.

You will have the opportunity to decorate your wreath with flowers and foliage, and can bring additional items such as dried citrus, ribbon or dried flowers to add your own personal touch. No prior experience is required.

What to bring

• Any decorations or greenery you would like to include in your wreath, such as dried citrus, ribbon or dried flowers.
• Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times.
• Please bring your own water bottle.
• The workshop will be held outdoors, under cover, weather permitting.
• If you are unwell on the day, please stay home to protect others.

When

Location

Free parking is available on Perkins Avenue, opposite the venue, as well as surrounding streets. Parking on Perkins Avenue has a two-hour limit, however nearby streets offer all-day parking. Ivanhoe Train Station is approximately a 20-minute walk away, with nearby bus stops at Plunkett Street/Bell Street (Routes 513, 514 and 903) and Perkins Avenue/Oriel Road (Routes 230, 350 and 549).
