Sunset pride party

Sunset pride party is back in 2026: bigger, brighter and even more fabulous. This free, family-friendly celebration of pride, connection and community will light up Greensborough Walk.

All ages and everybody is welcome.

We are partnering with Visit Greensborough and Midsumma Festival to bring you this party, a safe, welcoming space for the LGBTIQA+ community and allies to come together for fun in Greensborough.

The party will transform Greensborough Walk into a kaleidoscope of pride, filled with color, creativity and community spirit.

Activities

The evening will be filled music, roaming performers, market stalls, fun activities and joyful surprises that celebrate LGBTIQA+ culture in Banyule.

All are welcome to join in the fun, share stories, and connect with others in an atmosphere of love and acceptance. Come celebrate who you are and show your pride!

We are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming space for all, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning, and asexual (LGBTIQA+) residents. Our Connected Communities Advisory Committee raises awareness on important issues surrounding access, equity, participation and rights within our local community.

Getting there and away

You can get to Greensborough Walk by train or bus. The most direct option is the Hurstbridge line train, which goes to Greensborough Station. Alternatively, numerous bus routes, including the 293, 514, 517, 566, 901, and 902, stop at or near Greensborough Station and Greensborough Plaza/Main St.
