Spotlight walk along Darebin Creek

Join the Friends of Darebin Creek and the Banyule Bush Crew for an evening wildlife walk at the Banyule Northern Grassland Reserve.

Explore the reserve after dark and learn about some of the nocturnal animals that inhabit the area, including possums, gliders and tawny frogmouths.

Participants should be comfortable walking on unsealed tracks in low-light conditions.

Location

The meeting point will be roughly 600m north of this entrance along the dirt maintenance track. Signage will be placed at the gate for guidance.

The closest train station is Reservoir Station on Mernda Line. Nearby bus services include routes 250, 350, 382, 550 and 567, with stops within walking distance of the reserve. The nearest tram stop is Browning Street/Plenty Road (Stop 58) on Route 86.
