In recognition of IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia), we are partnering with QueerTown and Yarra Plenty Regional Library to explore this year’s IDAHOBIT theme: At the heart of democracy.
We are hosting a community workshop focused on LGBTIQA+ allyship. We invite you to come along and explore the role we all play in creating inclusive communities where everyone feels seen, heard and supported. In a safe, supportive space at the Rosanna Library, this workshop will help you build confidence in being an LGBTIQA+ ally and equip you with practical tools that can be used every day by anybody.
This is a 2-hour facilitated community workshop designed to welcome community members interested in building their LGBTIQA+ allyship skills.
You do not need prior knowledge, just a willingness to engage, listen, reflect and learn.
This interactive workshop equips participants with the practical skills, confidence, and strategies needed to move beyond awareness and actively create safer, more inclusive workplaces for LGBTIQA+ colleagues, clients, and communities.
