Explore the varied habitats of Wilson Reserve with Dr Jacinta Humphrey, an Urban Ecologist and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne.
As you walk through the reserve, you will learn about local bird species, their behaviours, and the important role riverside environments play in supporting urban wildlife.
Dr Humphrey's research focuses on bridging the gap between urban development and wildlife conservation, creating practical solutions that help native birds thrive in our cities.
If you have binoculars, please bring them along.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
