Jets Studios is a multi-functional creative arts studio for young people and community groups.  

Jets Studios offers an industry standard, multi-functional recording studio, as well as the hardware and technology to mix and produce your own music in a safe and inclusive environment. We also support the development of art through the use of technology and physical media and have a range of resources at our venue to get you going in production and events, sound engineering, music production, art and more. Jets and Banyule Youth Services provide a safe and inclusive place for young people of all backgrounds and abilities to build personal and technical skills in music, events, art and multimedia while promoting social connectedness and encouraging self-expression through community and creativity.

Accessibility

This venue includes accessibility accommodations such as:

  • 1 accessible parking spaces which is 3m x 4.5m in size
  • 3-metre distance on concrete path to reach entry
  • Entry, venue, and amenities are accessible to people with wheelchairs or other mobility aids.

Some additional considerations include:

  • The door at the entry is a manual (swinging) single door
  • The back exit has a single step and double/cage doors
  • There is high vehicle traffic around the venue, and limited street parking during business hours.

Jets Studio welcomes all young people. This studio is operated by Council directly with a commitment to the safety and protection of young people from abuse.

Getting there

Train – Greensborough & Watsonia Stations are the closest stations, both are on the Hurstbridge line.
Tram – Tram Route 86 (Docklands/Bundoora RMIT) to Stop 65 (located near the intersection at Grimshaw Street & Plenty Road). You will still need to walk or catch a bus up Grimshaw Street.
Bus – Get Bus Route 566 (Lalor to Northland via Plenty Road, Childs Road, Grimshaw Street), to Stop The Concord/Grimshaw Street, or
Get Bus Route 902 (Airport West to Chelsea – Smart Bus Service) to Stop The Concord/Grimshaw Street. 
Car - Parking can sometimes be a bit tricky: we have 4 parking spots available at Jets Studios (plus one accessible parking space), and very limited street parking on The Concord. Alternatively, parking can be found behind the facility at Dilkara Avenue.
