If you need to book an oval or space in a park for an informal, once-off event, or for personal training courses, you must submit a casual event application.
All schools seeking grounds use for single or multi-day activities and sport must apply.

Individuals seeking to use grounds for large parties, community group activities or sport must apply.
There is a ground hire fee of $231.00 and bond of $250.00, and proof of public liability insurance (minimum 10m) is required.
You do not need to make a booking for using park BBQs and tables, they are first-in use.

Council recognises the valuable service personal and group trainers provide in maintaining the health and wellbeing of residents. Public open space used by groups - for profit and not for profit - require management to ensure access for the whole community.
Our guidelines outline the application process and the activities permitted for trainers to use public open space. There is a seasonal fee of $570.00, and you must have a peak body affiliation.
