Art Gallery 275 is our museum-standard art gallery purpose built to proudly display the Banyule Art Collection and host specially-curated exhibitions.

This gallery replaces the long-running Hatch Contemporary Arts Space, and will continue to bring exhibitions that interest and inspire.

21 May 2026 Peta Clancy responds to colonial traditions that frame Land as landscape, exploring what it might mean to make photographs with Country, grounded in respect and care. For her, Country is not simply an image captured on the thin skin of film in a fraction of a second; it holds memory, knowledge, and powerful histories, that she may choose whether or not to reveal.
