Civic Drive Roundabout

Banyule's Ready for advicacy on Civic Drive roundabout

What we are seeking

We are seeking Victorian Government investment in a solution to address safety and congestion issues at the roundabout.

What it will deliver

Ideally, we seek grade separation in the form of an underpass or overpass to make it easier for local people to enter and move through the roundabout from the eastern and western approaches.

Overview

In partnership with Nillumbik Shire Council, we are advocating for a safety solution at the intersection of Diamond Creek Rd, Civic Drive and the Greensborough Bypass.

Local people struggle to enter and move through the roundabout from the eastern and western approaches due to a high volume of fast-moving, north-south traffic using the Greensborough Bypass.

There are regular accidents and near misses at this roundabout.
