The Banyule Story (annual report)

Each year, we publish our Banyule Story to share how we have performed and delivered for the community. The Banyule Story is our annual report and a key part of transparent reporting under the Local Government Act 2020 and the Local Government (Planning and Reporting) Regulations 2020.

2024–2025

The Banyule Story 2024–2025 was presented at a Council Meeting on 13 October 2025. It outlines our progress against the Council Plan 2021–2025 and shows how we are working towards the long-term Community Vision 2041.

The Banyule Story is made up of 3 documents.

  1. Part 1 – Report of Operations(PDF, 15MB) – outlines Council’s activities, achievements and governance
  2. Part 2 – Performance Statement(PDF, 478KB) – reports on Council’s audited service and financial performance against indicators
  3. Part 3 – Financial Report(PDF, 1MB) – provides audited financial statements and notes
