Professional opportunities for young people, managing screen time and new social programs were among the outcomes highlighted at the recent Youth Summit Report Card event.

Hosted by Banyule Youth Services, the event showcased progress made since the 2025 Banyule Youth Summit. Community members, councillors and professionals heard directly from young people about the 39 recommendations they helped develop and the positive impact these actions are having across Banyule.

Highlights included a youth employment forum, a wellbeing journal to support healthy screen time habits, and programs designed to strengthen social connections.

The Banyule Youth Summit is a biennial event that gives young people the opportunity to discuss, debate and drive change on issues that matter to them.
