Notice of an amendment to a planning scheme amendment C182bany
Published on 01 July 2026
The amendment rezones the land at 35 Hillside Road, Rosanna from Public Use Zone (PUZ6 Local Government) to General Residential Zone 1 (GRZ1 Accessible Areas and Ivanhoe Diversity Areas).
The property at 35 Hillside Road, Rosanna has been used as the Rosanna Maternal & Child Health Centre since its purchase by Council. The service has recently relocated to a new purpose-built location in Rosanna, where several Council services have been consolidated.
The subject land is now considered surplus to Council requirements, and there would be a financial benefit to Council from disposing of this parcel. Rezoning the land to GRZ1 would ensure its highest and best use and would provide consistency with the surrounding residential area.
For further details, refer to the explanatory report about the amendment.
