YouthFest 2026

Banyule YouthFest is one of the region's biggest celebrations of young people and youth culture.

Created by young people, for young people, this free annual event brings together thousands of attendees for a day packed with entertainment, creativity, connection and fun.

YouthFest provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive space where young people can express themselves, try new activities, connect with others and celebrate what makes Banyule's youth community unique.

Who should attend

YouthFest is designed for young people and their friends, families and supporters.

The event is culturally diverse, LGBTIQA+ inclusive and welcoming of people of all abilities. A range of low sensory and wellbeing spaces are available to support accessibility and inclusion.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Banyule YouthFest is a free, child-safe event.

The event is drug, alcohol and smoke-free.

When

Location

Between Macleod Station and Macleod Shops, next to Macleod College. There will be road closures around Watsonia, Greensborough and Macleod on the day of the festival. Catch the train to avoid traffic delays.
