Plant identification field day workshop

Join us and Michael Cincotta for a field day workshop at Nangak Tamboree Wildife Sanctuary.

The workshop will involve:

• Tour of Nangak Tamboree Wildife Sanctuary
• Assessing plant communities
• Plant Identification/familiarisation and microscopy
• Eucalypt Identification
• Acacia identification
• Field worksheet
• Group discussion

The workshop will be facilitated by Michael Cincotta, Biodiversity Coordinator at the Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary at La Trobe University. As part of his role, Michael has been managing the indigenous plant production nursery at the Sanctuary for nearly 30 years. He has also done the majority of seed collection and seed bank curation since 1995.
