Join the Banyule Bush Crew for an evening survey of the endangered Eltham Copper Butterfly.
As urbanisation continues to place pressure on native species, monitoring populations is an important part of conservation.
Participants will help search for and record butterfly larvae under torchlight within one of Banyule’s significant bushland reserves.

- Learn about the unique life cycle of the Eltham Copper Butterfly.
- Gain insight into local conservation and bushland management activities.
- Assist with collecting valuable information that supports biodiversity protection.
