Communications Strategy 2025-2029

The Communications Strategy 2025–2029 serves as a roadmap for how we will evolve and refine our approach to communications, while also helping us to realise our Community Vision 2041: we in Banyule are a thriving, sustainable, inclusive and connected community.

We are engaged, we belong, and we value and protect our environment. We have created this strategy to help our community feel more connected, informed and represented about the aspects of Council that matter most to them, allowing us to:

  • ensure our communications provide accurate, timely and complete information.
  • raise awareness and deepen understanding of our services, initiatives and decisions
  • build trust and strengthen connection.

This strategy builds on our strengths, addresses areas for improvement and innovation, and explores new opportunities to connect with our community.
