Despite the increased restrictions your bins will still be collected, and we're still able to answer your calls. We're reviewing what services need to change or stop and will keep the status updated on this website. Stay safe, stay home and if you need to go out remember your mask and make sure it's for one of the 4 reasons.
We're currently in the Election Period, also known as caretaker. This is in place until the local council elections close at 6pm Saturday 24 October 2020. During this time we need to comply with special pre-election arrangements and there are limitations on what we do to make the election process fair for everyone.
We congratulate all grant recipients and look forward to your project outcomes.

Banyule City Council is proud to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people as traditional custodians of the land and we pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Elders, past, present and emerging, who have resided in the area and have been an integral part of the region's history.
Banyule is a diverse community, made up of people from different cultures, beliefs, abilities, bodies, ages, sexualities, genders and identities. Council is committed to inclusion, access and equity for everyone. These principles foster cohesiveness, empower people and improve the wellbeing of the Banyule community.
