I have been a proud Ibbott local for 17 years, and I have worked and volunteered locally for much of that time. I love spending my time walking my dogs in Rosanna Parklands or at the cafés in Macleod and Rosanna. I have also been a strong community advocate for many years, with a focus on retaining valued public land, saving irreplaceable trees and protecting our wildlife corridors.
My previous experience in the financial sector will help guide a responsible Council budget while advocating for cost-of-living measures with the aim of easing current pressures. I am also excited to support Banyule’s local businesses and the Heidelberg West Business Park.
As a councillor, I am determined to continue my advocacy for protecting our valued green open spaces, natural environments and urban habitat trees. I will promote respectful development, welcoming new neighbours as we grow. I am passionate about robust community engagement and consulting locals about decisions that affect them. I look forward to chatting with many of you about your vision for Banyule.
