Book an immunisation appointment
Our nurses run vaccine
immunisation clinics near you every month. Book in to any of our morning, afternoon, evening and weekend sessions.
Information you will need
To book an appointment for you or a family member age 65 or younger, sign up to use the Central Immunisation Register Victoria (CIRV) portal and add in children or dependents who require immunisation. Be sure to have:
- email address
- easy access to that email account
- Medicare card.
Make a booking
Consult the clinic schedule, locations and dates found on this page.
You can also receive optional vaccines or get a seasonal flu booster during your booking for a fee (under age 5 and special risk groups excepted).
If you are travelling outside of Australia, visit your GP at least one month prior to travel to get advice on geo-specific vaccination. We do not offer travel vaccines.
If you are over 65, visit your GP or pharmacy to receive the jabs you need.
Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email with your appointment time and a reminder text message on the day before your appointment.
Be sure to fully complete the booking process. If you do not receive a confirmation email then your booking has not been registered.
Preparation and expectation
- Paracetamol is not recommended before routine vaccinations except Meningococcal
B/Bexsero.
- Bring your green Maternal and Child Health book and Medicare card so we can record the vaccines.
- Jabs are given by our friendly registered nurses, all have extensive training.
- Appointments are scheduled every 10 minutes during clinic hours.
- A nurse will explain and administer the vaccines being received.
- You must wait at the clinic for 15 minutes after a jab to monitor any reactions.
- Babies can be unsettled for up to 48 hours after, a cold facecloth or paracetamol helps reduce pain.
- It is fine to let babies sleep after vaccinations.
