Gym equipment updates

Refreshed gym
Banyule Leisure and Ivanhoe Aquatic are excited to share that the full transformed gym at Ivanhoe Aquatic has opened.
The equipment and refresh includes:
- the replacement of all plate & pin loaded plus free weight strength equipment
- all new cardio machines
- several pieces of equipment never featured on the Ivanhoe Aquatic gym floor.
We also took this opportunity to replace the flooring in the gym and complete a general refresh of the entire gym area.
Significant consideration was given to the results of member feedback received from a Gym Equipment member survey conducted in October 2024, as well as taking into account current and future fitness trends and available spaces.
We are beyond excited to reveal this incredible next chapter of the Ivanhoe Aquatic gym to our members!
Key dates
In order to complete this exciting project, we will be required to close the Ivanhoe Gym and adjacent rooms for a short period of time to remove and install current and new gym equipment, remove and install new flooring and electricals and to undertake other required works in the gym area.
We thank you in advance for your patience while we work with our contractors during this closure period to ensure we are providing you the best workout experience once we reopen.
Gym closed: from Thursday 13 November to Thursday 4 December inclusive
Reopening: Friday 5 December
