Our paid parking are designed to make parking faster and smarter. Learn how to use, pay, report problems, request a refund or find your receipt.
Using meters
All parking meters have a touch screen with payment instructions. If you need further help using these meters, contact us.
Payment options
Meters only accept cashless payment. You can pay using:
- a credit or debit card
- your phone’s contactless payment
- the PayStay app (start the session when you park, stop it when you leave)
Download the PayStay app from:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store

Reporting faults
If a parking meter is not working:
- find the 5-digit Meter ID (shown on the machine)
- call 1300 309 590 to report the fault
- or use another nearby meter or pay using the PayStay app.
Requesting a refund
To ask for a refund, email enquiries@banyule.vic.gov.au
Be sure to include:
- the reason you’re asking for a refund
- full name
- date and time of the parking session
- location or meter ID
- your vehicle’s number plate (for all payments)
- the first 6 and last 4 digits of the card used.

Visit the My Parking Ticket site to access your parking receipt.
