We are committed to raising awareness and eliminate discrimination including homophobia and transphobia. In 2014, Council established an LGBTI advisory committee and developed a LGBTI Plan to tackle discrimination, celebrate our diverse community and to ensure that Banyule is a safe and welcoming place for LGBTI community members.
In This Section
We have provided a selection of information about the LGBTI Advisory Committee, information about events and projects provided by Council and other community organisations, and an extensive list of services and links to
organsations that provide support, health and social information for every person within the community.
We are aiming to constantly improve our website and ensure the information provided is meeting the community’s needs. If you have suggestions for improvement please contact the Community and Social Planning team on 9490 4222.
