Every three months, Council hosts a citizenship ceremony for Banyule residents on behalf of the Department of Immigration & Border Protection (DIBP).
Applications for Citizenship need to be made to DIBP. Once the department has assessed and approved the application, the list of candidates is sent to Banyule City Council for the ceremony and presentation of citizenship certificates.
For further information and applications on becoming an Australian Citizen please call DIBP on 131 880 or visit www.citizenship.gov.au
