World-class stadium for Banyule high-ball clubs at La Trobe University

We contributed $5 million to a new $81M La Trobe Sports Stadium which forms part of a $150M Sports Park at La Trobe University.

Banyule basketball, netball and volleyball clubs, which have been continuing to grow over the last few years, now have access to this world-class facility.

The indoor stadium has 6 multi-purpose highball courts, and Banyule clubs will have a minimum of 6000 court hours per year. This adds up to 120,000 hours over a 20-year agreement, enabling thousands of participants to train and compete there.

The stadium also houses state-of-the-art sport science laboratories for biomechanics, sports analytics, exercise physiology and strength and conditioning.

The Sports Park, as a whole, is expected to attract about 10,000 visitors per week when COVID-19 restrictions permit the facility to open up again.
