Worthy Natives with Chris Cook

Next date: Tuesday, 09 November 2021 | 09:00 AM to Sunday, 21 November 2021 | 05:00 PM

Photographer Chris Cook taking a picture in the wild

Chris Cook may be a resident of the Banyule community, but the truth is he is barely home. He spends most of each year travelling the world working as a naturalist and wildlife photographer. A few years ago, he started to actively work on bringing his passion for connecting people to nature in his own backyard and started creating imagery of the native wildlife found in Banyule.

Chris will be celebrating this imagery through an artist residency and an exhibition. Chris will also be hosting associated workshops during his residency to help you create your own wildlife imagery.

This residency and exhibition has been made possible through the support of a Banyule Environment Grant.
