Molly and the Prohibition

Molly and the Prohibition is the creative friendship between John McAll and Molly Georgia. Molly and John first met while John was doing a music workshop at Molly’s School. Immediately stunned by her talent, he asked her to sing at his album launch for Black Money, his New York-recorded Album release. Molly was an outstanding talent from an early age, and is now one of the most powerful and mesmerising voices on the Australian scene. John is well known for his contribution to groups such as the Black Sorrows and also appears in the jazz world with his band Black Money.

Wilbur Wilde's Blow Out

Saxophonist and singer Wilbur Wilde celebrates 50 years of musicianship performing with Blowout. Having lived on Planet Ivanhoe for most of those years, he enjoys being a Banyule musician. Wilbur is well known to Australian audiences from his 17 years with the seminal TV Show Hey Hey it's Saturday. He's done some other stuff like movies, radio, theatre and playing in rock bands. Surrounded by the masterful Mike Jordan, Phillip Rex (Banyule bassist), Mark Fitzgibbon (Banyule Pianist) and local trumpeter Eugene Clinton Ball, there will be Jazz (and some blues too).
