Online workshopInsect Hotels
In this fun activity, you will make a special home for the insects that live in your garden.
Insects are great for our environment: they chew up old leaves, they pollinate plants, and when they die, they help make great soil and can be food for larger animals like birds.
Using a recycled plastic container, some string and other things found outside, we will make a cool insect home that you can hang up under a veranda or in a tree in your backyard. Then, all you have to do is wait to see how many insects decide to make it their home.
An adult may need to help for this activity.
