Online eventHome Harvest
Home Harvest events have always been about a community, the satisfaction of growing your own produce and the pure pleasure of sharing and eating it with others. It's a celebration of home grown produce and local food. With the uncertainty around public gatherings this season, the celebration will look a little different, but the satisfaction and pleasure of sharing will remain.
Home harvest seed libraries
Calling all artists and makers!
As part of this year's Home Harvest, Nillumbik and Banyule Councils have teamed up with Yarra Plenty Regional Libraries to commission a local artist or maker to design and create a series of 8 seed libraries to be located across the 2 municipalities.
These libraries will give the community an opportunity to share seeds and the experience of home growing.
We are looking for proposals for the design and creation of these seed libraries which should be creative, original, exciting and appropriate for the location and local community.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, professional artist or maker to create an original, practical and long-lasting work which will be used by the community ongoing.

Read the brief thoroughly. Submit your proposals in the form of a single document by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and CC in email@example.com
Donate extra produce
This year, we wont be able to have our usual picnic at Edendale, but we can still ensure the whole community can enjoy local fresh produce grown with love.
If you have some extra harvest, please donate that fresh local food to our local food distributors.
