Online sessionsFamily games night
Join us for a virtual family games night with host extraordinaire Ben McKenzie. Learn how to play new games, and have fun online with Ben.
There will be 3 sessions across the evening, and you are free to book in for what interests you most, more than one if you wish.
Session 1: Playing Boardgames Remotely
5pm to 5.45pm: We don't always live with the people we want to play with - but luckily there are lots of ways to play boardgames online. Ben will go through some of the options for playing online, including what kind of games work best for this, and what options won't cost you anything extra.
This session will also have some time for you to ask your burning board game questions

Session 2: Play Along in Spyfall
6pm to 6.45pm: In Spyfall, everyone plays secret agents meeting undercover at a previously arranged location ... except for one of you, who's a spy! Can you catch them out before they figure out your meeting place? Spyfall is a popular social deduction game, in which you take turns asking questions to either try to find the spy amongst you - who doesn't know where you're meeting - or find out where the meeting is taking place. Spyfall is a great example of a game which can be played with physical cards or in a variety of ways online.

Session 3: Play Along in Bring Your Own Book
7pm to 7.45pm: Grab a book from your shelf and try and find a sentence or phrase inside that's the funniest or best answer to a prompt! Can you think of a line that would be a hit single from a heavy metal album? Or something that would sound super spooky if whispered? A great game to play in person or online with anyone with a book or two handy, and a great example of the party game genre.
