Explore local wildlife and how to sustain nature

Explore Banyule's wildlife

Our suburbs are home to a great diversity of wildlife and Banyule is no exception.

What species may be living in your backyard or local park and how can you help them to thrive? Jacinta Humphrey form La Trobe University will address these questions using examples from her research into impacts of urban development on birds.

Our biodiversity officer Paul Davis will talk about how to attract wildlife to you garden and outline some wildlife gardening principles, as well as inform you about our Gardens for Wildlife program ... so you too can contribute to enhancing our local biodiversity.
