Information session for Arts & Culture program

Learn about our new spaces in the Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub and about how to get involved with our programming.

Information sessions

To get involved, attend one of our information sessions so we can share our vision with you and set you off in the right direction.

We collaborate directly with artists to engage the community as partners. Only those who attend one of our information sessions will be eligible to submit proposals.

Important dates

  • May to July 2021: information sessions and applications open
  • August 2021: Arts & Culture team assess all applications
  • September 2021: applicants are contacted wit an outcome
  • October 2021: confirmation of programming for January to June 2022 events
  • November 2021: January to June 2022 program finalised and printed
  • December 2021: January-June 2022 program launched and distributed

Session times and locations

Information sessions will be programmed during May through July 2021.

Join us

This is an annual process open to all artists and makers living or operating in Banyule.

Please join us:

  • if you are an artist, performer, musician, maker, creative, writer or a creative/cultural community group
  • if you live or your group operates in Banyule
  • if you have a programming idea, project or want to do an arts or cultural activity at Ivanhoe Library & Cultural Hub
  • if you want to work with us and be part of our program, not just hire a space to do your own thing (sessions are not about venue hire).

Benefits

  • We will introduce you to the various programs and spaces that you can apply to.
  • We want to share our vision and programming ethos with you.
  • We want to work with our local creative community and support you.
  • We want to meet you, and hear your ideas.

Remember, only those who attend an information session will be able to apply.
