For 2019, Boulevard Lights will be bigger, better and brighter in Ivanhoe East.

Keeping the tradition alive for almost 70 years, residents will have their houses, gardens and windows decorated with lights displays, nativity scenes and everything festive. So come and be dazzled by this spectacular show, roving entertainers, food trucks and more.
Traffic changes and parking restrictions
For your safety, The Boulevard will operate as a one-way street from from 7.00pm-11.30pm during the event. Some nearby streets will have extra parking restrictions in place.
We’ve had an overwhelming response to the Boulevard Lights this year with record numbers of visitors in the thousands each evening. For the safety of visitors and residents, it is likely The Boulevard will be closed to all vehicles from 9.00pm on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 December. The best way to experience the spectacular light display is on foot. If you are heading to The Boulevard Lights via public transport, Ivanhoe Station is only a 10 minute walk away.

Food and entertainment
Food on the Boulevard will be stationed around Ivanhoe Park, and will include BBQs, coffee vans, and ice-cream trucks.
Water stations will be located on-site: don't forget your re-useable water bottle.
When and where
The Boulevard Lights will shine each night, 8:30pm to 11:00pm from Saturday 14 December to Tuesday 24 December 2019.
In the case of extreme weather the event will be cancelled.
