The proposed Budget 2018/19 and proposed Council Plan 2017-2021 (Year 2) were presented to Council for consideration at its meeting on Monday 10 April 2018.
A proposed Budget 2018/19 has been prepared (for the financial year 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019) for the purposes of Section 127 of the Local Government Act 1989.
A proposed Council Plan 2017-2021 (Year 2) has been prepared for the purposes of Sections 125 and 126 of the Local Government Act 1989.
Both documents are available for viewing and inspection at Council’s customer service centres at Greensborough, Rosanna and Ivanhoe, or on Council’s consultation website, Shaping Banyule.
Making a Submission
Any person may make a written submission to Council on any proposal contained in the proposed Budget 2017/18 or in the proposed Council Plan 2017-2021 under section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989.
Written submissions to Council must be received by 5.00pm on Wednesday 9 May 2018.
Submissions can be made via the submission template available on Council’s consultation website, Shaping Banyule. Hard copy submission templates are also available online or by calling Council.

A person making a submission is entitled to request in the submission to appear in person, or to be represented by another person, in support of the submission. If you wish to be heard in support of your submission at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on Monday 21 May 2018, you must indicate this clearly in your submission.
Council will hold a Council Meeting at 7pm Monday 21 May 2018 to hear and consider submissions on the proposed Budget 2018/19 and the proposed Council Plan 2017-2021 (Year 2).
Council will hold a Council Meeting at 7pm Monday 25 June 2018 to consider adopting the proposed Budget 2018/19 and the proposed Council Plan 2017-2021 (Year 2).
