Banyule City Council (Council) gives notice under section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) of its intention to sell the land known as 10A Tate Street, Ivanhoe (‘the land’) by private treaty.
The land is described as Lot 1 on TP856552V and contained on certificate of title volume 10867 folio 298 is bounded by 10 and 12 Tate Street and 27, 29, 31 and 33 Ailsa Grove, Ivanhoe. The land comprising an area of approximately 360m2 is proposed to be sold, see 10A Tate St - plan of proposed land sales.
A land allocation plan has been prepared identifying the proposed parcels to be sold, see 10A Tate St - land allocation plan.
A person has a right to make a submission to Council on the proposal in accordance with section 223 of the Act.
Written submissions to Council quoting reference number F2013/877 must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 9 May 2018 and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Banyule City Council and delivered to 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough or posted to PO Box 94, Greensborough 3088.
Submissions will be considered at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on Monday 4 June 2018 beginning at 7pm at 275 Upper Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe. Council will consider whether or not to sell the land at a subsequent meeting.
If you wish to be heard at the Council meeting in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, you must state this in your written submission.
If no submissions are received, Council may, at its Ordinary Meeting on Monday 4 June 2018, decide whether or not to sell the land.
Any person making a written submission under section 223 of the Act is advised that all submissions and personal information in the submission will be handled by Council in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
