Banyule City Council (Council) gives notice of its intention to sell the land known as 56 Jacqueline Road, Bundoora, having an area of 181m2 adjacent to the northern boundary of 54 Jacqueline Road and being the land comprised in certificate of title volume 10647 folio 235 (Land).
This proposal is made under section 24A of the Subdivision Act 1988 and section189 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act).
A plan identifying the land proposed to be sold can be viewed online or during normal business hours at Banyule City Council Service Centre at 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough.
A person has a right to make a submission to Council on the sale of the land in accordance with section 223 of the Act.
Written submissions to Council under section 223 of the Act must be received by 5pm on 5 October 2017 and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Banyule City Council and delivered to 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough or posted to PO Box 94, Greensborough 3088.
Submissions will be considered at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on Monday 30 October 2017 beginning at 7pm at 275 Upper Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe. Council will consider whether or not to sell the land at a subsequent meeting. If no submissions are received, Council may consider whether or not to sell the land at its ordinary meeting on Monday 30 October 2017.
If you wish to be heard at the Council meeting in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, you must state this in your written submission.
Please note that copies of submissions (including submitters’ names and addresses) will be made available at the Council meeting at which the above proposal will be considered. Council is also required to make any written submissions available for public inspection for a period of 12 months.
