Banyule City Council (Council) gives notice under section 190 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) of its intention to enter into a lease with Heidelberg Theatre Company Inc. to operate the Heidelberg Theatre Company at 36 Turnham Avenue, Rosanna, being part of the land comprised in certificates of title Vol 9314 Fol 210 and Vol 10229 Fol 484 (Land).
The Terms of the proposed Lease are as follows:
Lease Term: Ten years plus one additional ten year option
Commencement Date: 1 January 2019
Annual Lease rental: $120 pa plus GST
Annual Fixed Increase: 2.0 percent

A person has a right to make a submission to Council on the proposal in accordance with section 223 of the Act.
Written submissions to Council quoting reference number F2013/1000 must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 6 March 2019 and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Banyule City Council, delivered to 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough or posted to PO Box 94, Greensborough 3088.
Submissions will be considered at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on Monday 8 April 2019 beginning at 7pm at L4, 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough. Council will consider whether or not to lease the Land at a subsequent meeting.
If no submissions are received, Council may, at its Ordinary Meeting on Monday 8 April 2019, decide whether or not to enter into the lease.
If you wish to be heard at the Council meeting in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, you must state this in your written submission.
Any person making a written submission under section 223 of the Act is advised that all submissions and personal information in the submission will be handled by Council in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
