Residents will have their assumptions about community safety and crime challenged on Tuesday 20 March at a forum at Shop 48 – The Harmony Centre in Bell Street Mall, Heidelberg West.
The forum will include a presentation from the Crime Statistics Agency, crime prevention advice from Victoria Police and the launch of Council’s Safer Banyule Plan 2017-2021.
Banyule Mayor Cr Mark Di Pasquale encouraged residents to attend the forum to find out how safety is being tackled in this city.
“It is important that we all stay informed about safety in our community,” he said.
“This forum is a great opportunity for residents to find out about Council’s plan for safety, hear from the Crime Statistics Agency, and to get practical safety advice from Victoria Police,” he said.
